Food Handling in HACCP Zones

In the food industry, the use of plastic pallets has been made mandatory in compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP). However, investment costs associated with plastic pallets are high and purchasing only limited quantities of pallets is a viable option for many. Plastic RF Pallets® are however only used within production areas cutting cost significantly. These pallets have an additional set of synthetic slats across their top surface. ROLLERFORKS® fit perfectly between these slats. First, a slipsheet is placed on the pallet so that forks can slide effortlessly under the slipsheet. Once goods have been placed onto the ROLLERFORKS® attachment, they are simply rolled off the forks onto standard wooden pallets in the warehouse. Wooden pallet can then be stowed away using the same forklift truck.
