New routing almost ready


Lift truck forksIn 2006 MSE-Forks decided to enter into Lean Manufacturing. The reason for this is that MSE-Forks want to keep the focus on the telescopic lift-truck forks, to further expand its market share, to raise production and to improve the quality.

Lean Manufacturing started almost 50 years ago, proceeding from the automotive industry (Toyota). In fact, Lean Manufacturing means nothing else but “producing slim”. Every organization has its own squanderings like storage, movement and removal, waiting time, defects etc. Also after a thorough analysis at MSE-Forks, many points of improvement came to light. The present machine park and the industrial processes for example, were not capable to prevent in-between stock. An investment of 1.5 Mln Euro should raise production by 30%. This investment includes a closed paint installation and new deep hole drilling machines.
