NuKorc and RollerForks®
 Nukroc manufacture high technology synthetic wine closures and sell them in all wine growing regions of the world. In the past, Nukorc had been sending these products packed in cardboard cartons on wooden pallets, but timber pallets have three major drawbacks:
- They must be fumigated in some destination ports
- They take up dead space in the container
- They are expensive to buy and do not come back
Linde Material Handling in Australia recognized the advantages of palletless handling at Nukorc and invited the RollerForks dealer to help them with a demonstration of the patent RollerForks. Nukorc was amazed by the simple yet effective design of the RollerForks and what they could do with them was instantly recognized.
Nukorc ship their products now for a while in cardboard boxes without the timber pallets. The cartons have been made bigger to hold more products and without the dead space they are fitting more volume in the container, saving about approximately 20%. Purchase and fumigation of wooden pallets have been completely eliminated. With these three savings the initial costs of the RollerForks will be paid off in no time at all.
