Since the introduction of the RollerForks® nobody could have expected what kind of influence this new slip sheet attachment would have in the material handling industry. During trials MSE noticed that a lot of companies did not like pallets because of the costs, the administration work, the storage volume etc.. At the same time MSE concluded that companies would still like to store their goods on pallets and would like to transport the goods on slip-sheets saving the pallet. To solve this “problem” MSE developed the RF-Pallet. The principle is based on a special entrée for the taper of the RollerForks® which improves the operating speed. Because of this small entrée the RollerForks® can be pushed under the slip-sheet/goods very fast. With the rollers-system it is no problem to unload the goods of the RollerForks® into containers or onto pallets again.

A special prepared pallet, the RF-Pallet®, makes it able to store the goods on the special surface. The RF-Pallet® itself can also be stored just like the standard pallets. It can be handled with standard lift truck forks or with the RollerForks®. Under the goods, depending on customer’s requirements, a slip-sheet can be placed. This specially designed pallet improves the speed of unloading with the RollerForks® enormously. Everybody knows that operating speed is very important. Now the RollerForks® can be positioned very easily into the “roller pocket”. It rolls smoothly under the slip-sheet or directly under the goods. The goods can now be loaded into the container or lorry. The main advantage of the RF-Pallet is that the special design improves operating speed enormously. There is also a possibility to use a corrugated carton sheet, because no retracting forces are applied on the slipsheet. And when the loads are unloaded manually on its destination it is the utmost best way of handling products. Considering the difference between a corrugated board sheet and a solid sheet the extra slats will be paid back very fast.

Also the RF-Pallet can be used when the customers doesn’t requires any slipsheets. Depending of the size of the boxes two, three or four RollerForks can carry a layer of boxes.
